Peachester State School is located in Peachester, Queensland, nestled in the Sunshine Coast Hinterland. Opened in 1892 it has a solid history of providing high quality education for students in years Prep - 6. Our commitment is to continue supporting students in developing a strong foundation of learning skills. Our school is situated on 8 acres and includes extensive play grounds, sport areas, vegetable gardens and Bush Tucker Track.
Staff at Peachester State School are dedicated, and motivated encouraging a positive learning experience for young children. All students participate in the Australian Curriculum through Education Queensland's Curriculum into the Classroom lessons in English, Mathematics, Science, HASS, HPE, The Arts, Technology and Language (Japanese : Year 3-6). To support our classroom programs we offer "Jolly Phonics" and North Coast Region Success Numeracy Program.
Our Stephanie Alexander Kitchen Garden program for students in years 4-6 is linked to the curriculum and offers students hands-on learning experiences. Students can participate in a range of activities outside the classroom including Choir, Instrumental Music Program and Environmental Club.
